HOPE FOR ALL FOUNDATION seeks to become a National Organization with international recognition to enhance the livelihood, health and environment of its target group through advocacy and socio economic service”
OUR MISSION
To assist the underprivileged in society to realize their potential, through awareness creation and participatory approaches to ensure improved health status and increased employment opportunities for the people.
HOPE FOR ALL FOUNDATION (HOFA) IS A NON-GOVERNMENTAL, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO PROMOTING COMMUNITY HEALTH, HUMAN RIGHTS AND INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT FOR FIFTEEN (15) YEARS. MOTIVATED BY OUR CONCERN FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN, FAMILY AND COMMUNITIES
ORGANIZATION’S BACKGROUND/CAPACITY
Established in the year 2002 with NGO Registration Number: (i) Registrar General Dept. G5, 43.793 DUNS No.850489924 . Hope For All Foundation has been in the forefront of HIV and AIDS prevention in Western Region particularly in Tarkwa –Nsuaem Municipal,Ahanta west,Amenfi East and West,Jomoro,Elembele, where lots of HIV projects have been implemented successfully with various Partners such as USAID through JSI The Care Continuum Project, FHI 360 The linkages and SHARPER, AED/SHARP and Ghana AIDS Commission.
HOFA with recommendation by the Regional AIDS Committee assisted in establishing a PLHIV Support Group Our Hope Support Group at Tarkwa and Bogoso in 2006.
OBJECTIVES:
- 1.To build capacity and strengthen collaboration with communities and other groups to improve health and wellbeing of children and women, including reproductive and sexual health concerns
- 2.To assist in disease prevention as well as improving and sustaining medical care for the underprivileged, families,mothers and children through advocacy.
- 3.To strengthen linkages within society and provision of alternative livelihood programs to address gender concerns
- 4.To improve good local governance through effective community participation in Development planning process and ensuring an accountable and transparent local government structure.
- 5.To build civil society’s capacity to improve basic education and health to ensure sustainable, sound management and protection of natural resource and environment through advocacy, lobbying and capacity development of the target communities
